The life story of Joe Louis, heavyweight boxing champion. Mr. Louis held the title for 12 years, which is longer than any other boxer in history. The film includes some great fight footage of Joe with other legendary boxers, such as Primo Carnera, Max Baer, Max Schmeling, Jim Braddock and Rocky Marciano. The film also covers how Joe Louis had to fight racism outside of the ring.
