A good movie

“To be honest, I wasn’t really sure what to expect from this flick but since it seemed to have a decent reputation (it was nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award among other things), I thought I might as well check it out. During the 40's, especially during WWII, they used to make such cheesy movies in the US and this movie was a perfect example. In fact, I'm pretty sure it was the quaintest movie I have ever seen and, yet, even though you would probably not expect it, I have to admit that I actually enjoyed the damned thing. As far as I'm concerned, I didn't get a nostalgic feeling about the 'good old days' but, in my opinion, this movie was more about what we all should try to achieve which is to be decent and kind to another, no matter your age, background, race, religion or soci” read more
