The last 15 minutes of this movie are actually pretty damn awesome and if I was a 10 year old kid watching this 1959 I'm sure I would have been scared!

It's basically similar to The Beast From 50,000 Fathoms as atomic tests in the oceans brings back a massive radiation spouting paleosaur which wreaks havoc on London.
