"What a waste in plethora of ways. As much as I like Kitamura's work, he isn't good at directing action. He's good at directing excitement, making people do poses, showing complete nonsense in a way that still feels fun and energetic. Fist fights and shootouts don't particularly give him reason to do that (though the inspired final fight does raise this film above what it'd otherwise be). Couple that with a screenplay I am absolutely baffled took five people to create that seems like it was writt"
