When The Collector came out, critics hated it but, a lot of people seemed to love it. Me, I was in the middle. It wasn't as bad as critics proclaimed it to be but, it wasn't great either. It was just a run-of- the-mill torture porn movie. It was never boring but, the execution could have been better. So three years later we get a sequel. Arkin escapes with his life from the vicious grips of "The Collector" during an entrapment party where he adds beautiful Elena to his "Collection." Instead of recovering from the trauma, Arkin is suddenly abducted from the hospital by mercenaries hired by Elena's wealthy father. Arkin is blackmailed to team up with the mercenaries and track down The Collector's booby trapped warehouse and save Elena.

" Date: 2/15/2021 Viewed: Amazon Prime First Viewing Note: I recently watch the first Collector movie last month and I really enjoyed it. I was quite eager to check out the sequel as soon as possible. The Collection is not a bad movie, but I do like the first movie better in my opinion. The writing and acting in this movie is pretty weak, but the special effects, gory kills, and the atmosphere make up for it.
