Description:
Man-about-town Cyril Hamilton is engaged to Marcia West, the daughter of a colonel, but when Cyril refuses to accompany the colonel's national guard unit into action, Marcia leaves him and goes West with her father's troops. Ashamed of his cowardice, Cyril enlists as a private in another regiment fighting at the Mexican border, but his society manner annoys all of the men around him. Cyril discovers that Marcia has been abducted by the Mexican bandit Navarete, and after tracking them down, he kills the kidnapper and rescues the victim, who now must acknowledge Cyril's bravery.
