"1 out of 5 I haven't seen this since the early 00's, so I might need to give this one a rewatch. It was pretty wtf and had a good bit of body horror and that's all I remember."

" Date: 1/3/2021 Viewed: Blu-Ray Re-Watch Note: I haven't watched Opera in about almost 20 years and I had the Blu-ray on my shelf for the last few years now. My January Horror Hunt gives me a reason to revisit this movie again and this movie is still awesome. Opera is probably Dario Argento's last great movie in my opinion. "First viewing - March 22nd Argento is very hit and miss with me I'm finding, and this was more of a miss. It's not bad at all though...the art of the film was very impressive and made it worth sitting through. From the colors to the camerawork to the set design, there's a lot here to appreciate. And the means the killer uses to keep our protagonist watching what he does...outstanding nightmare fuel. I just didn't care much for the characters though, and found the acting to be lacking at times. "
