An Englishman has been working in the US so long he now speaks with an American accent. He is drafted into the British Army during WWII but is injured and loses his memory. Because he talks like an American, the doctors repatriate him to the States where he is housed with a New York family. After the war they all travel throughout Europe, searching for the women he still remembers in the hope of restoring his lost memory.

Movies Viewed in 2018 (361 movies items)"Drama about a soldier who suffers from amnesia and goes in search through five cities in Europe to find the only clue to his identity: a woman, a child and a signed note from each of the cities. Bonar Colleano stars as the soldier in a romance that lumbers along with each woman having their own difficulties which he is willing to help with. The ending is rushed and is hardly satisfactory."
