“Esta serie es un intento por devolverle a Bob Esponja al menos algo de su antigua gloria y en ningún momento pretende aparentar lo contrario. Admito que la premisa es interesante, la animación está bien cuidada y la película es divertida.

A pesar de que no es tan buena como la película del 2004 y que es innegable que lo mejor de la esponja de Nickelodeon quedó en el pasado, en esta película aún se ven varios destellos de esa magia que hizo grande al Show de TV en primer lugar.

La recomiendo para niños pequeños y no tan pequeños, pero en especial la recomiendo para aquellos que hoy somos adultos y que crecimos viendo a a Bob Esponja en su época dorada.” read more

At least, the wacky humor was still pretty neat, even after all these years. Anyway, I'm not sure if it it is really worth a look but if you are a fan of this TV-show, you will definitely love this sequel, the others however should probably choose to watch something else."

“Is SpongeBob still really so popular? I remember that, 10 years ago, he was pretty huge and I even went to see 'The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie' with my kids in the movie theater when it was released. With this in mind, I thought I might as well check out this sequel. Well, it turned out to be a decent watch but not much more, I'm afraid. On the other hand, you shouldn't probably expect something really amazing from this material. Anyway, what was slightly disappointing was that the title and the posters were actually rather misleading. Indeed, it was only during the last 20-30 minutes that SpongeBob and his buddies got out of the water and it was even later that they finally became some kind of goofy super-heros.
