Initial Thought: I'm watching this to get it over with. I really enjoyed this show growing up and I still enjoy it. The problem here is the movie looks awful especially the CGI. The only reason I am checking this out now is because I do like the actors that are involved here. Hopefully it turns out to be funny like the show.

Is SpongeBob still really so popular? I remember that, 10 years ago, he was pretty huge and I even went to see 'The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie' with my kids in the movie theater when it was released. A pesar de que no es tan buena como la película del 2004 y que es innegable que lo mejor de la esponja de Nickelodeon quedó en el pasado, en esta película aún se ven varios destellos de esa magia que hizo grande al Show de TV en primer lugar.

La recomiendo para niños pequeños y no tan pequeños, pero en especial la recomiendo para aquellos que hoy somos adultos y que crecimos viendo a a Bob Esponja en su época dorada.” read more

"From.... (The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie 2004) To... (The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water 2015) Gap between movies : 11 years Was it worth the wait ? : Is SpongeBob still really so popular? At least, the wacky humor was still pretty neat, even after all these years. Anyway, I'm not sure if it it is really worth a look but if you are a fan of this TV-show, you will definitely love this sequel, the others however should probably choose to watch something else."
