Conceptually, this is one of the freshest science fiction time travel films I have seen. Visually it was spectacular, but the acting fell far short with typical on-screen romancer Edward Burns at the helm and the rest of the supporting cast resting uncomfortably in his wings.

To be honest, I wasn’t expecting much from this flick. Indeed, when it was released, it was a huge commercial and critical flop and it was even considered as one of the worst movies released in 2005.
