A good movie

Like anyone else who has a decent taste in movies, I have been anxiously waiting for ‘The Irishman’ but, suddenly, out of nowhere, Martin Scorsese released another movie and, of course, I had to watch it, especially since it was available on Netflix. To be honest, I have to admit that I did struggle a little bit to get into the damned thing. Indeed, even if I did grow up listening to his music... read more

Von Haselberg is a pain in the ass, but has some good material of concert, people speak not so sincere thing to him, but when are gathered singing (Joni Mitchell and Bob, for instance) is good. Boy and Gingsberg before Kerouac's grave in Lowell cemetery is forced.

"2019 This documentary likely would have been really good if we didn't have to sit though extended performances from Bob Dylan. He is terrible live, even back then. I am impressed with the editing and Scorsese's appropriately non-sequitur scenes that you my find from a younger director taking chances."

A Complete Review of Martin Scorsese's work (33 movies items)

" Cast : Bob Dylan, Allen Ginsberg, Patti Smith, Joan Baez, Sam Shepard, Sharon Stone, Joni Mitchell, Bette Midler What was it about? In an alchemic mix of fact and fantasy, Martin Scorsese looks back at Bob Dylan's 1975 Rolling Thunder Revue tour and a country ripe for reinvention. My two cents: Like anyone else who has a decent taste in movies, I have been anxiously waiting for ‘The Irishman’ but, suddenly, out of nowhere, Martin Scorsese released another movie and, of course, I had t"

To be honest, I have to admit that I did struggle a little bit to get into the damned thing. Indeed, even if I did grow up listening to his music thanks to my father, I have never been a huge fan of Bob Dylan and, to be honest, I find his aloof attitude actually slightly annoying. At least, the whole thing was really original as it was some kind of combination of a standard concert movie with a documentary but also a mockumentary. Indeed, there were apparently some fake stuff and it was slightly too bad that the whole thing with Sharon Sto” read more
