" Loved it, loved it, loved it. I went into this expecting it to be far less funny than it turned out to be. The dry, strange humor throughout the entire film delivered by a pack of misfit girls was a welcome change from the Hangover-esque humor that seems to be more and more popular. "Oooooh, they got drunk and now they don't know how they acquired this briefcase full of cocaine!" Not in this film, this belongs in the 'So Funny It's Wrong' category."
“Since this movie turned out be to quite successful, I thought I might as well check it out. Well, to be honest, I really struggled to care about the damned thing and I thought that most of it was actually rather lame. Indeed, the introduction was just so cringe-inducing and, and from that point, it never really managed to convince me. I mean, at some point, the main character says that college a cappella singing is actually lame and I couldnโt agree more with her. Of course, the whole point of the movie was to show how awesome it actually was and how she managed to finally have some great friends but, once again, I didnโt really buy it and the damned thing turned to be just so generic and predictable. "Pros: Some of the song choices are entertaining; 'The Breakfast Club' references feel (slightly) less "written-dialogue" than the one in horrid 'Easy A'. Cons: Annoying characters; the vomit scenes are stupid, unnecessary, and GROSS! (Especially the one with the girl doing "snow angels" in that ridiculously huge puddle of throw-up; YUCK!!!)"
