"This is a fun and energetic horror flick by Wes Craven about a young teen named Fool, a street-smart 13 year-old kid living in the ghetto. When his mother falls ill and the evil landlord hits them with an eviction notice, he hatches a plan with a family friend to break into the landlord's house and rob him of his riches. “I wasn't really sure what to expect from this movie but since I have a weak spot for Wes Craven's work, I was quite eager to check it out. Well, first of all, even though it had some creepy elements, especially its poster, to be honest, it wasn't really scary but it was still fairly entertaining. "Some abandoned houses, have secrets. For that reason, you shouldn't enter them. Also, some people will do anything thing, to keep the money that they have accumulated. Absolute greed, corrupts absolutely."

"Well, this was definitely something different that I was expecting. Gimp suit wearing, shotgun wielding nutcase chasing a kid around a manor in a reverse Home Alone with cannibals in the basement and inside the walls... also there's a rottweiler. And slapsticky shit happening... and Ving Rhames."
