"When Paddington 2 is a Wes Anderson but actually great prison movie it's the best film of 2017. Everything else is very good as well."
"How is it possible for a film to be this charming. I laughed just as hard, cried just as hard and felt like life if we had a Paddington in our lives, would be warm and charming. And why can't we sort our problems out with a hard stare? I love, love, love this film. Can I give it 11 out of 10?"
"An excellent sequel! Paddington is accused of stealing an old pop up book of London from an antiques shop that he wants to send to his aunt as a birthday present and is thrown into jail. The real villain though wants to use the book to find the long lost treasure of his relative. The movie is as funny and witty and as brilliantly animated as the first. The excellent cast from the first movie is also enhanced by a superb turn from Hugh Grant, who hasn't been as good as he is here in a long time"
"Funny, charming and cute, Paddington 2 is a even better sequel than thier predessesor buy honor the legacy of the character whit smart humor and amazing writing and direction"
"First viewing - Jan. 20th The kiddo had three movies in theatres she wanted to see, and as luck would have it Paddington 2 was the only one that the timing worked out for us to catch. We both highly enjoyed the first one, and I'm glad to say this is a worthy sequel. It's smart, funny, heartfelt, and I deeply appreciated the world building & how it riffs on immigration. Some of it gets a little ridiculous, but when your main character is a talking bear that's to be expected. There was one scene "

"Tomatometer Guess: 90%. Based on reviews in the UK, Paddington 2 looks like a continuation of everything that made the first movie as charming and endearing as it was. Actual Score: 100%. Paddington 2 is even more of a delight than the first film was. It has twice the laughs, humor, and heart of the first."
"Never has a film brought so much joy as Paddington returns in a new adventure, this time involving a pop-up book that is worth more than just its story. The cast brings energy and jubilation to the proceedings, while the animation of Paddington is just as remarkable. The surprise of the film is Hugh Grant as the obnoxious actor who has an interest in the book. Funny, touching and just a lovely film for the Christmas holiday."
