"31.7. 2019 If you add supernatural monsters and loud soundtrack to "Enter the Dragon", you'll get "Mortal Kombat". It's a silly film full of brutal but bloodless martial art action and dated special effects, and it proceeds like a video game: the first level is pretty easy to beat, but every enemy is harder to beat than the previous one, and finally you meet the final boss. You can enjoy "Mortal Kombat" in the same way as you enjoy listening to those 90s techno and hard rock songs that are cons"

"24.2. Kun se VHS-nauhuri nyt kerran oli vaivauduttu kaivamaan naftaliinista, niin pitihän sitä jotenkin vielä hyödyntää. Yhdellä kaikkien aikojen röyhkeimmistä soundtrackeista varustettu kökkö näyttää hävyttömän rumalta ja on kaikessa niin uskomattoman tyhmää roskaa, että lapsena tästä intoilleena en voinut olla saamatta jotain irti. Paul W.S. Andersonin vääränlainen ammattitaidottomuus tehdä elokuvia valitettavasti pilaa jonkin verran hyvää kalkkunaa. Christopher La"
" Okay. I'd never seen this before, played the original game as a kid, sure. I just never got around to the movie. It is what it is. It's cheesy, with a completely predictable plotline, characters that are in B-movie mode and really amazing sets. Maybe if I'd seen it when I was younger....ya know? That said, when the Scorpion fight went down and you heard 'Get Over Here!', I totally got chills. It's watchable."
"Bill makes reference to the White Lotus a group of warriors that was created by Raiden."
" It is goofy at times, but for a video game movie it's pretty damn good."
" Director: Paul W.S. Anderson Writer: Kevin Droney Starring: Various"
"8.4, Bluray, rewatch, no change Alle kymmenvuotiaana tätä tuli kulutettua VHS-soittimessa todella tiuhaan tahtiin. Nostalgiamielessä kyllä viihdyttävä tekele, joskin loppua kohden aika väsynyttä menoa. Pelin tunnelma on saatu vangittua lavasteiden avulla yllättävän hyvin."
" Yeah, I don't get it. It's an awful film. Aside from the theme song, there's nothing redeemable here. Adapting a video game like Mortal Kombat doesn't really require much. It's more or less just to toss in a few awesome fights, but this was beyond boring. The fights was lackluster as fuck, while everything surrounding it was just bad. I see that many people are claiming it as some sort guilty pleasure, but I fail to see the entertainment value here. It's just bad."
