"This should have been the fun, bonkers blockbuster of the Summer. Instead, this is a damp squib of a film about a megalodon escapes from a hidden undersea world to cause havoc and only Jason Statham can stop. The film is surprisingly old-fashioned and lacking any real thrills or originality. You long to watch Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus. A massive disappointment that even the Stath couldn't save."
