When you think about Eddie Murphy's career, you wonder if it will ever get better again at some point... I mean, back in the 80's, he was one of the most succesfull actors and most of his movies were actuallu pretty good, or at least decent. Than in the 90's, his movies got less and less interesting and entertaining but they were usually fairly succesfull at the box-office but, nowadays, all his movies are some huge flops and, even worse, they are just plain terrible to watch. I'm afraid this flick was not an exception. Indeed, it was dealing with a really inane plot dealing with some aliens and the whole thing was just plain tedious. Not only Murphy was not funny at all but I was actually never realy sure about the tone. I mean, it was too childish for the grown-ups but they were too many adult jokes for a familly feature. I hope Eddie Murphy managed to get a fat paycheck for this piece of turd otherwise I didn't see at all the point of taking part in this 'project'. To conclude, it was just another really weak feature starring Murphy and it is absolutely not worth a look at all.
