Description:
"Margerita" is the story of Ephrem, a fifteen-year-old gypsy and pickpocket. His first burglary, however, will put him to the test—because the targeted apartment is that of a beautiful young composer and violinist (Francesca Valtorta). Moni Ovadia plays himself—a thespian and musician who often works with the Roma gypsies and who is never separated from his prized Stradivarius violin. The film provides insight into the world of the Roma—the result is a black fable, told however, with lightness and authenticity. This film is the winner of numerous global film festival awards.
