“To be honest, since ‘Knight of Cups’ already turned out to be a disappointment, I had already lowered down my expectactions concerning this movie. Well, unfortunately, even though it turned out to be slightly better, once again, I still had a hard time to care about the damned thing. I mean, as usual with this director, the whole thing looked awesome thanks to award-winning cinematographer Emmanuel Lubezki, even if they made an excessive use of wide angle lenses. Furthermore, even if this movie didn’t really find an audience, it was obviously a treat for all the actors involved to work following Malick’s unique way of shooting movies.
