The premise at first sounds very interesting and appealing, but when you see the movie it's boring, it moves slowly and doesn't have much to tell.
It sounds rude but it felt like a waste of time, and I felt obligated to see it through to the end even though my desire was already down.

A very strange Greek film about a family that seems to be in its own in society.
I don't think I'll look at sparkly headbands the same way again.

Last year, I saw 'The Lobster' when it was released with my film club and since it was pretty good, I was quite eager to see this previous directing effort from the same director. Well, it was once again a really weird movie, something really absurd and experimental but, even though it was a decent watch, I'm not sure I really cared about the whole thing. I mean, I didn't have any problem with the fact that nothing was really explained during the whole duration. In the contrary, it made the movie even more intriguing to behold. Basically, the main issue was that, even more than in 'The Lobster', the characters were all barely developed and they were not really interesting so I had a rather hard time to care about them and what they were going through. Still, how can you define this movie? I don’t think it really qualified as a comedy but it was definitely not a drama or a thriller either. The fact that it definitely didn't belong to any genre made this movie really stand out and, only therefore, it gets a few extra points from me. Anyway, to conclude, even though I didn’t really connect with this movie, it was still an interesting watch and I think it is definitely worth a look, especially if you're interested in experimental features.
