Honestly, I had no idea what to expect from this flick but since there were a couple of interesting actors involved, I thought I might as well give it a try. Basically, it is one of those hyperlink movies, you know, when different storylines between multiple characters are more or less intertwined. Description:
Intermission is an urban love story about people adrift and their convoluted journeys in the search for some kind of love. When the desperately insecure and emotionally inarticulate John breaks up with Deirdre to 'give her a little test' his plan backfires leaving her broken-hearted and him alone and miserable. Mielestäni tämä oli parempi ja maanläheisempi elokuva kuin aikasemmin näkemäni Brooklyn, jossa oli ihan liikaa Hollywood-vaikutteita ja kaavamaisuutta. Ja onhan ne irkut vaan hauskoja. Colin Farrell tekee hyvän roolityön. Viimeksi Crowley ohjasi Farrellia kahden jakson verran True Detectivin ei niin vakuuttavalla kakkoskaudella. "
