Heat update feed
"Re-watch - June 24th Thanks to the 4K restoration making the rounds this year I've seen a lot of talk about Heat which has had me itching to revisit it. Thankfully I didn't have anything I needed to do on this particular Saturday, so I made time after lunch to watch it again. And man, it's really held up well. I could go on & on about everything that works, but if you don't already know by now then the only way you'll understand is to go watch it already. I fell in love with the film all over a"

"22.1. Blu-ray Uusintakatselu, ei muutoksia. Mahtava, alakuloinen ja syvästi jännitteinen tunnelma, joka muistuttaa kivasti klassisempaa eurooppalaista rikoselokuvaa. Upeat toimintakohtaukset sulautuvat hienosti mukaan. Ajattomuutta rikkoo käytännössä vain poninhännät. "
" Al Pacino having a cup of coffee with Robert DeNiro. Nuff said.* * Actually, since I first posted up this movie entry, there is now more to be said. This power from this scene came from the fact that these two seasoned actors were still in their respective primes and each had a screen presence that could barely be contained when they were both put together. However, since then, the careers of DeNiro and Pacino hav"
"Re-Watched 08/13/2016 Rating 8.0/10 Format: Blu Ray An all-star cast with a good script and directing by Michael Mann Heat remains one of the best films of the 90s. "
" Notes: I remember very well when this movie came out. Indeed, back then, Robert De Niro and Al Pacino were still a big deal and when the word came out that they would finally star together in a movie, like any other average movie fanatic, I was just thrilled. Eventually, I even saw the damned thing in the movie theater when it was released and I was certainly not disappointed. Of course, eventually, we were all slightly cheated since they only had two scenes together, for a total of less than"
"Finally watched this fully after seeing the shootout/heist scene multiple times. Like in the first try after bying this and watching it with my brother... I fell asleep after like 25 mins not because of the movie but because of work. I woke up during the first few shots in the streets. And watched this fully the next day. This is one of those movies that is as good as everyone says it is. Pacino and DeNiro are both great and so are the supporting cast. Mann's directing was great too. "
