My Movie Hall of Shame (65 movies items)

"The whole movie is bla, bla, bla. There is talking, talking all the time. So boring...there was only one good scene at the beginning with Alec Baldwin playing an arrogant asshole. So many stars in this movie... but still so boring. I don't understand the high imdb/listal rating. my rating: 5,5"

Moviewatcher122's 2016 Film Diary: November (12 movies items)

"November 12 "They say that it was so hot in the city today, grown men were walking up to cops on street corners begging them to shoot them." I've been wanting to see this movie for a while now and I have to say that it's just as great as I thought it would be. It has a fantastic cast, tons of memorable dialogue and scenes and great acting all around. That one scene in particular with Alec Baldwin delivering this speech was just amazing. While it does fall short of getting a perfect score fro"

Go home and play with your kids! You wanna work here, close! You think this is abuse? You think this is abuse, you cocksucker? You can't take this, how can you take the abuse you get on a sit?" 1001 Movies You Must See Before You Die (1990's) (119 movies items)

" Notes: First of all, I have to point out that, even though I have seen many movies written by David Mamet or based on his work (about 19 if I’m not mistaken) , I can’t say I have really been blown by his stuff. This movie must be however the exception. Indeed, it was based on his Pulitzer prize winning drama and the whole thing was simply just spellbinding to behold. Indeed, the concept was in fact pretty simple and the whole idea was to have a bunch of great actors put together deliverin"

A very good movie

“To be honest, it has been a while since I have seen this flick and I should definitely re-watch it at some point. First of all, I have to point out that, even though I have seen many movies written by David Mamet or based on his work (about 19 if I’m not mistaken) , I can’t say I have really been blown. This movie is however the exception. Indeed, it was based on his Pulitzer prize winning drama and the whole thing was simply just spellbinding to behold.
