It is adapted from the picture book of the same name by Irene Dische and Hans Magnus Enzensberger. The hero is a Viennese rabbit of the Esterhazy dynasty. He has grown up too small, and the head of the family, Prince Esterhazy, sends him to 1989 Berlin to find the biggest possible rabbit wife there.
