"First viewing - Jan. 29th After Paddington I found I was running a fever, so I had the ex pick up the kiddo for the night & settled onto the couch until I was ready for sleep. Since I had plenty of time I decided I could watch a longer film & chose El Dorado. The acting is excellent throughout, though I'd expect no less from Wayne & Mitchum & James Caan. To be fair John Wayne didn't have a lot of range as an actor, but he plays the cowboy roles well & brings style & humor to his performances. A"
