"2.14 Guillermo Del Toro’s dark tale of ghosts and dark intentions is a moody horror love story inspired by Shelley and Lovecraft (and Tim Burton!) and is set against large scale, beautifully adorned sets of a time ambiguous—you know, the typical Del Toro world. Mia Wasikowska is Edith Cushing (of course, Peter-inspired) who, after marrying a handsome but mysteriously eccentric gentleman is whisked away in an old manor which turns to be haunted by past and present ghosts. “Crimson Peak” "
