"This movie follows the life and times of Alan McGee, the founder of the iconic Creation Records label. The story spans the years from his turbulent teens in a conservative Glasgow household, to the genesis of the label, and its eventual phenomenal success, a drug-fuelled breakdown, and a phoenix-like renewal. It's structured as a a series of interviews with a journalist in which McGee casts an eye on his career. I'm not sure how much of the story is real or made-up for the movie. It does run out"
