A genre-bending dramedy with a unique premise
“I watched this film in theaters as part of a College class I was taking at the time. Literally only knew of the basic premise of this film on the very day I was going to see it. Had no prior knowledge of the film and hadn't even seen the trailers for it. But from what I heard, I found the concept of this film unique and I thought it'd be worth watching. Honestly, this film surprised me in more ways than one. I believe the way this film handles its admittedly ridiculous premise is impressive. Colossal delivered more than I'd expected from the trailer, which was a very damn good thing. Hathaway & Sudeikis impress in their respective roles & the story goes some unexpected places. It's not a film for everyone, but if you're able to hang with it you'll be rewarded. If I had any complaint it's that some aspects could have been more dee"

Director: Nacho Vigalondo Writer: Nacho Vigalondo Cinematographer: Eric Kress Composer: Bear McCreary Cast: Anne Hathaway, Jason Sudeikis, Austin Stowell, Tim Blake Nelson, Dan Stevens, Hannah Cheramy and Nathan Ellison Review: This was not what i expected at all. The trailer made it out to be some sort of goofy comedy, but it was much darker than that. The trailer was very mislea"
