For me, a new film from Todd Haynes is something of an event. He makes so few, and when he does, they’re always hypnotic, frostily intellectual, and composed of immaculate images deploying the same use of colors and composition as Douglas Sirk. gorgeous cinematography, fine performances, good filmmaking but the story is so lame,uninteresting characters. disappointing. I've seen better overlook underrated lesbain films. "Carol" is like "Blue is the Warmest Color" they're overrated ,sorry.. I don't find them good.

Since I kept hearing some really good things about this movie, I was really eager to check it out. Well, I wasn't disappointed, that's for sure.
