Big Eyes update feed
" Where: At Home, Netflix Instant Thoughts: Just fine! Nothing especially mind blowing, but lots of elements I liked- colorful, period setting, about art, a woman lead, a "villain" who was very easy to dislike. Overall it was good to watch, a good way to spend some time and hopefully learn a little art history, if the movie is accurate to reality. Watching Christoph Waltz's character slowly spiral was very satisfying, he played the role well. Amy Adams did a fine job and was very sympathetic,"
"Worldwide Gross: $29,253,166 Domestic Gross: $14,482,031 Budget: N/A Country: USA | Canada Release: 25 December 2014"
"Movie: 8/10 Directing: 9/10 Starring: Amy Adams, Christoph Waltz, Danny Huston, Jason Schwartzman, Terence Stamp, John Polito, Krysten Ritter "
"Kommenttini ovat lyhempiä kuin penikseni. Big Eyes oli hyvä paluu Burtonilta. Jäin kuitenkin kaipaamaan enemmän sellaista taikaa, jota niissä vanhoissa leffoissa on. Waltz tietysti pelastaa olemuksellaan aika helvetin paljon."
" DVD- 1hr. 45min. First Viewing Adams and Waltz are solid, the film's visual stylings are strong and this does represent a step up from Tim Burton's more recent fare, but Big Eyes is just missing a spark that would make it come together satisfyingly. The plot starts okay, but stretches itself so thin that by the end it becomes too broad to register. "
