This sci-fi drama centers on troubled adolescent Eric, son of a NASA computer scientist who worked for the Apollo mission—which successfully sent Paul Andrews as the first man to set foot on the moon. Paul had been rude and condescending to the other astronauts following his return from space, so they had begun to avoid him, and he became increasingly troubled and withdrawn. Eric, determined to become an astronaut himself one day, befriends Paul, and the astronaut eventually reveals to the boy the secret that they have found evidence of life on the Moon.
