" First Viewing Viewing Date: April 4th Via: Binge Plot: A young pickpocket and an unruly CIA agent team up on an anti-terrorist mission in France on the eve of Bastille Day, the nation's biggest holiday. Rating: 6.4/10 Why Did I Watch It? IMDb reminded me that this movie exists after I watched No Good Deed. It was free on Binge and it's 90 minutes, so it was perfect for a lazy evening."
“I wasn't really sure what to expect from this flick but I thought it would be neat to see an action flick taking place in France during the French national day. "Surprisingly good action movie! Idris Elba being an ultimate bad ass FBI agent who doesn't do things by the book. Shared With Milady"

"Bastille Day is a "by the numbers" action thriller. That's not to say this is a poor movie. What it does, it does well. There's a good cast including the talented Idris Elba in the role of a CIA operative. Great Parisian sets, locations and lots of predictable but still enjoyable, action sequences. Where it falls down somewhat is in the storytelling and character development department. The storyline is a bit thin, stretching credulity to its limit whilst not doing anything that, in one form or "
