" I love that Norwegian filmmakers finally are starting to dig up these fairy tales as material for live action feature films. There is so much rich Scandinavian folklore that it's really a disgrace that this is the first time that we've gotten a proper big screen story with Espen Askeladd from Asbjørnsen & Moe's famous collections of fairy tales. So I'm all for this film existing, yet I can't shake of the fact that I find the film to be subpar of what it should have been. It's ultimately a disa"
