Description:
Filmed in Beirut, this sweet short film follows Abou Milad, an old local barber who lost his hairdressing salon during the Lebanese civil war. One day, Abou gets the opportunity of a lifetime when the richest, most reclusive man in town suddenly needs a haircut and a shave. As the barber returns again and again to the wealthy man’s home, he discovers why the man is so alone. The barber becomes the solitary man’s only confidant, while being paid opulently for his services—which creates a battle between his inner greed and emotional generosity.
