Since I kept hearing some really good things about this flick, I was quite eager to check it out. Well, to be honest, I didn’t think it was really so original and, on top of that, I’m not really a huge fan of these movies mixing a serious drama with some fantasy elements. O filme conta a história de Conor O'Malley, um jovem rebelde que cresceu sem o pai, com uma mãe em estado terminal devido a um câncer, morando com a sua avó que é uma megera e para completar sofre bullying na escola apanhando todos os dias, tem todos os ingredientes para ser um filme ruim, vitimista e fatalista, mas veja que o que temos aqui é uma verdadeira jóia que passou despercebida.
