"This sequel has its flaws, yes, but what I really like about it is how deft and straightforward the premise is: it's basically a race between several parties pursuing the same object. Plus, its handle on characters, humour, action and special effects is effortlessly on par with the first Ant-Man."
"Sequel to the 2015 hit has Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly taking on a spectre called The Ghost while trying to save Lilly's mother from the quantum zone. A film which suffers from far too much plot and a constant mentioning of the word quantum. The effects are incredible and the humour is still there, making this a fun and disposable blockbuster. Michael Pena, as Luis, steals the film from everyone. Light relief after the events of Infinity War."
"First viewing - July 14th Once again an Ant-Man movie works for me largely because of the father/daughter pieces which inform its emotional throughline. I love the dynamic between Scott & Cassie, and I'm really appreciating the fact that this series treats their family as a positive instead of as something broken and flawed. Marvel needs to get nuked for churning out this shit it's like a shit tier Spiderman, which is already shit. Anyways dude is wee and fig"

I actually recently rewatched 'Ant-Man' as well and, to be honest, even though I really loved the damned thing the first time around, it wasnโt as good as I remembered. Well, I'm afraid this sequel will probably go down as one of the most forgettable installments in the mighty MCU. Indeed, basically, half of it was not bad but the other half was only decent at best. For example, it was a great idea to expand the characters of Hope van Dyne and Hank Pym but, as a result, Scott Lang was pretty much reduced to a supporting character in his own franchise. I had also some issues with the plot. Indeed, it was really neat that, following the events of the previous installment, they ” read more
