Marion Hargrove was an American writer best known for his screenplay for "The Music Man" (1962). Hargrove was the feature editor of "The Charlotte News" before he enlisting in the U.S. Army, where he worked on the staff of "Yank, the Army Weekly", a weekly magazine published by the United States military during World War II.
