Margaret Bourke-White was born on June 14, 1904 in The Bronx, New York City, New York, USA as Margaret White. She is known for her work on American Playhouse (1981), Of All Things (1956) and Critic at Large (1948). She was married to Erskine Caldwell and Everett Chapman. She died on August 27, 1971 in Darien, Connecticut, USA.
She was the first woman photographer attached to US troops, and survived a torpedo attack on a ship in WWII.
