Wow. Breathtaking. Best movie I've seen last year. Absolutely brillant film by Lars Von Trier! This man's a fucking manipulator, he plays with your feelings, makes you believe something to tear that ilussion apart the following second. Fucking Genius.

Hukkle (2002)
I was so confused after watching this masterpiece. Palfi incredibly directs this one, a must watch! The editing is just insane, the cuts are pure magic!
UbikSpray's rating:
This was my way to finish the year. I couldn't believe I hadn't seen it before. I love every Paul Thomas Anderson film, but this one, in my opinion, is he's best. Lightning, camera work, art, script, FUCKING DANIEL DAY-LEWIS ACTING! Just great
UbikSpray's rating:
Jesus (2016)
What can I say about this one? I've watched it at Mar del Plata's International Film Festival here in Argentina and I walked out the cinema astonished, numb. Great experience, totally explicit. Not for everyone, but give it a try if you have the chance!
UbikSpray's rating:
Best documentary I've seen last year. Early Herzog shows us the lifes of deafblind people, how they deal with it, how they comunicate with each other, what are their problems. Heartbreaking at times. It's really interesting and has some outstanding moments.
UbikSpray's rating:
Kiarostami. Nothing else to say. Try to watch it without reading nothing about it, this movie is a journey. Lovely.
UbikSpray's rating:
Johnny Got His Gun (1971)
Directed by Trumbo. It's his first and only film. Some great decissions made by the director here.
What is a dream and what is reality? A Must watch.
What is a dream and what is reality? A Must watch.
UbikSpray's rating:
Three crazy hours. Soderbergh knows what he's doing. Heavy drugs here and destruction. Music is done by the great Cliff Martinez, first drummer from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Flea plays bass! Awesome
UbikSpray's rating:
Close-Up (1990)
Another Kiarostami film. DON'T read anything about this one. It's just cinematic perfection. You will ask yourself what am I watching? What is this? Just wait... you'll find out.
UbikSpray's rating:
The American Friend (1977)
Wim Wenders directing Bruno Ganz and Dennis Hopper. This film has some things that will stay in your head!
UbikSpray's rating:
Le Cercle rouge (1970)
What a film! Three people destined to meet each other... in the red circle. Insane and visually stunning.
UbikSpray's rating:
Another visual beauty. Wes Craven definetly watched this Bergman masterpiece before directing "Last house on the left".
UbikSpray's rating:
Herzog and his huge ego telling anecdotic stories. Funny nonetheless, has some great moments. You gotta love both of those geniuses.
UbikSpray's rating:
Putting aside my love for Science-Fiction, I've got to admit Gandahar is a great film! In my opinion far greater than Laloux's "Fantastic Planet". Don't miss this one.
UbikSpray's rating:
Day for Night (1973)
Cinema taking on cinema. Truffaut's ode to cinema. Just a great piece of cinema, how many times can you say cinema in one sentence? Cinema. Day for night.
UbikSpray's rating:
Best I've seen from Robert Altman (which's not much). Shelley Duvall and Sissy Spacek are great here. It reminded me of Bergman's "Persona". The Dream secuence is just incredible.
UbikSpray's rating:
WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS? I remember begining 2016 with this film. God, what an imagination. Surreal as hell. The guy in the pajamas acting like a baby ... priceless. You'll laugh your ass out.
UbikSpray's rating:
Into the Inferno (2016)
Herzog's documentary on volcanos made for netflix. Pretty good. The documentary will end and you won't know what the fuck the film was about because it goes from one side of the planet to the other touching different themes. Great experience anyway. It dropped my jaw several times.
UbikSpray's rating:
I've always wanted to watch this one. Jarmusch is unique. He can combine genres as he pleases. Ghost Dog is an example.
UbikSpray's rating:
Mister Lonely (2008)
Korine has some great films. This is one of them. A Michael Jackson impersonator meets a Marilyn Monroe impersonator. Brillant idea with some unexpected twists.
UbikSpray's rating:
Searching for Sugar Man (2012)
The director tries to find out what happened to the folk musician Sixto Rodriguez. This guy's music and lyrics are awesome! Hear it after watching the film!
UbikSpray's rating:
The Lobster (2015)
Lanthimos dropped my jaw with Kynodontas some years ago and now he did it again. This film is a mix of sci-fi, Lanthimos's distinctive direction of actors and black humour, don't miss this.
UbikSpray's rating:
Jarmusch's newest film. I remember leaving the cinema with my friends, we were talking about how much we liked it, how it made us feel. We crossed the street and bought some coffee and smoke some cigarettes in a kind of unconscious tribute.
UbikSpray's rating:
12 Angry Men (1957)
This one's a hell of a film. Lumet's debut is a true gem. If you haven't seen it yet, don't wait anymore.
UbikSpray's rating:
I think this one was a re-watch, because I remember watching it when I was a little child. Anyway, it's great.
UbikSpray's rating:
Before watching this one I didn't read anything about it (as I always do). I like to think of my mind as a blank paper, waiting to recieve the whole experience at once.
I didn't knew this was a two and a half hours tracking shot.
My god, what a film.

Patricio Guzmรกn's documentary will take us on a journey to south Chile. Which role did water play in this country's indian cultures? Year later, the worst atrocities were committed in this same ocean.
UbikSpray's rating:
My girlfriend likes Maier's photos, that's the reason why I knew some of her material, but I wasn't aware of her life story! Great one.
UbikSpray's rating:
Why people kill? Why the United States kill people who kill? Is that the best way to give an example to the people? Herzog talks to two guys awaiting for their death in a prison.
UbikSpray's rating:
I really liked this one. I don't know how Andersson can maintain those static long shots with lots of movement inside the frame ... jus amazing.
UbikSpray's rating:
What are the motives this serial killer has to kill? This one is written and constructed in a marvellous way
UbikSpray's rating:
I love PTA's work. This is his first movie. Incredible cast, direction and story. Go watch it.

Persepolis (2007)
A beautiful film indeed. Sad and encouraging at the same time.
UbikSpray's rating:
Well ... I love David Bowie. He's my favourite artist ever. Nagasi Oshima directs this one and it's kinda unsettling, kinda creepy.
UbikSpray's rating:
This one is a reeeally weird film. A mix between pixelation, stop motion and live action. Kinda Svankmajer, kinda Lynch, kinda .... weird.
UbikSpray's rating:
The Great Beauty (2013)
Beautiful in a strange way. I liked it, but I actually don't know how I feel about it. Great film anyway.
UbikSpray's rating:
Julieta (2016)
Nice experience at the cinema. One of the few films I've seen from the spanish director.
UbikSpray's rating:
The King of Comedy (1982)
Scorsese's masterpiece. I didn't know if I should feel sad or happy, laugh or cry. A contradictory experience.
UbikSpray's rating:
I bought Raymond Carver's "Begginers" last year and I read it after watching this movie. It's amazing how Altman connects the different stories. It's a 3 hours masterpiece. If you haven't read anything from Carver's carrer, let me tell you: you should. Now.
UbikSpray's rating:
The Godfather (1972)
(This one's out of place in the list)
Great film. Nothing else to say. You must watch it at least once in your life.

Children of Men (2006)
Can't remember much about this one, sorry. I guess it's not that good then ... I don't know. There's a few splendid tracking shots.
UbikSpray's rating:
De nens (2004)
Well this one left a mark in me. The film follows the judgement of a pedophile who swears he never touched any of the kids, he just loves them. This documentary doesn't take a position on the theme and that's why it's that great. You should put special attention on the journalists ...
UbikSpray's rating:
Errol Morris's short documentary. Don't waste more time and go watch it
