С.К.А.Й. (S.K.A.Y.) is a Ukrainian pop-rock band founded in 2001.

The band SUNRISE was founded in Kiev (Ukraine) in 2003, by Konstantin Naumenko and Vitaliy Petrichenko.

The subject of texts touches questions of self-realization and self-knowledge of the person, searching for the meaning of life and spiritual development and also lyrical reflections about love and mutual relations between people. Melodic construction of songs is capable of inducing the whole scale of feelings.

MORTON originates as the heavy/power-metal studio project of the respected Ukrainian sound-producer Max "Morton" Pasichnyk. The primary style that was chosen for the project was a blend of classic heavy-metal and modern power-metal. Later, with the band's growth, the style was greatly transformed and gained individuality, but even now heavy-metal basis can be felt in each song

Ukrainian band MAJESTY OF REVIVAL (Progressive/Power Metal) was formed by Dimitriy Pavlovskiy (POWERSQUAD, GROTESQUEORCHESTRA) in 2009. Their sound came from such bands as SYMPHONY X, STRATOVARIUS, NOSTRADAMEUS, ANNIHILATOR,
MERCYFUL FATE, WALTARI etc.

Nokturnal Mortum started as a death metal band called Suppuration in 1991,[1] then turned to black metal and changed name to Crystaline Darkness but "had to change the name back in 1993/94 to Nocturnal Mortum because there already existed a band with that name in western underground."[2] Then the band "changed the letter so that we wouldn't find a band with the same name again like it was the case with Crystaline Darkness."[2] Nokturnal Mortum gained their first Western recognition with the release of their album Goat Horns, their second full-length album, notable for having two keyboardists play on the album, often on the same song, and for mixing traditional Ukrainian music with black metal.

Hate Forest was a Ukrainian band formed by Roman Saenko, the leading member of Drudkh, Dark Ages, and Blood of Kingu. Thurios joined the band in 1998 after the recording of Scythia. The music is mostly very fast, but occasionally slow, with low, distorted vocals and dark ambient elements (some releases have consisted entirely of dark ambient tracks). The band never gave interviews, never released photos, and held their distance from the black metal scene. Part of the National Socialist black metal scene, their lyrics are about Slavic and Aryan mythology and inspired by H. P. Lovecraft myths and Friedrich Nietzsche works.[1] After Hate Forest disbanded, Saenko focused on Blood of Kingu, a band similar in style but of different inspiration.
