This season is really turning out to be quite interesting. Even though I don't get the nerd boner like many of the shows fans probably get, being comic book readers. I really have no idea about the history of some of the characters without some research, and I've never been part of the comic book culture. But I like the show, it's a nice action show with interesting way of bringing these known comic book characters to the story.

Bones (2005)
I just recently caught up on Bones and I'm now trying to keep up with the newest season. I liked the Christopher Pelant storyline and the fact that it still haunts Bones. Otherwise Bones is and has always been pretty straight up show.

Man, it was about time I got around watching The Sopranos and The Wire. I got the spark to do it from my new TV interest suits in which a certain character said this: "Nobody watches The Wire without starting with The Sopranos!". So this is also why I watched The Sopranos first, and I really think it was the right choice, hah.
But the Wire exceeded all of my expectations. And that is pretty hard when the series has been dubbed the world's best TV series. I knew it was a crime show, but nothing else really. And to be honest I only fell in love with the show at the end of season 1. Each season starts slow and it takes time to get with the program. But like I did, you soon find that you've watched five fucking season in one week. And each season brings more depth to the characters, story and maybe even meaning of life. Essentially The Wire is pretty ruthless for it's characters just like life itself is.
So basically the show is one of the most authentic series I've ever seen. I need to re-watch this someday but now I'm just glad I even watched the whole show.

The Sopranos (1999)
Man, I just finished the whole show and.. wow. I am still speechless about the finale and I don't know. The show is genius. And the actors are fucking brilliant.

As a big Sex and the City fan I jumped on board to watch this "loose adaptation" of Carrie Bradshaw's life when she was younger. I am a bit disappointed that there aren't (at least yet) that many references to the Carrie that we know from Sex And The City. Bringing Samantha Jones on the second season was an interesting turn and I have heard that in future seasons there will be some familiar characters like Stanford Blatch. But otherwise The Carrie Diaries is a decent and enjoyable show which I will try to follow as it goes further.

Ah man, quite the disappointment this season to be honest. I'll admit, there were moments that were pretty great and I was genuinely excited about the season at first. And the first episodes were pretty great. But really somewhere along the line things got weirder and not in a good way.
It felt like about ten episodes of the show were just utter bullshit. They kept on going about the supreme and introducing new characters and "surprising" plot twists (like everyone coming back from the dead) but nothing actually happened until in the last fucking episode and even that was a disappointment. This saddens me because I see so much potential in AHS. Murphy seems to have the attention span of a 14 year old. He gives us all these characters and their story lines but never really ties them up in the end. He just ends the season with a "happy ending" and the audience is left wondering what happened.
Murphy is clearly just relying on the show's shock factor and it always makes the headlines with its' gang rape scenes and graphic mass murders. But it definitely is not enough content for me.
drugs's rating:

Sleepy Hollow has so far been good, not average but not that dazzling either. Some episodes and characters were beyond awesome and I like the Ichabod in modern world set up but at times the show just isn't that interesting. But as usual it may be that the second season will be a lot more exciting.

Thinking about starting

No longer following
Series I am no longer following. At the moment at least.
I have just about no interest to follow the series anymore. I didn't really enjoy the last season and the current one isn't at all interesting to me. I've spoiled some of the "major" deaths also so I'm not sure if I'll ever catch up with the show.

True Blood (2008)
I think I'm still stuck in the middle of season 4. Just lost interest in the show.
