Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Nintendo Wii
This is the game that I've played multiply times and never get sick of it. I enjoying playing this game at any possible chance with my brother, my friends, or just alone. There are so many things that makes this game replayable. All the different characters to play in different stages with different items while the stage plays different music. Not just that but with all kinds of unlockable items that you try to get and an entire interesting storymode. I consider SSBB my favorite video game.

Batman: Arkham City - Xbox 360
I am a HUGE Batman fan. So, I was overall thrilled to play the Rocksteady "Arkham" series. I greatly enjoyed the first Arkham Asylum game. While playing the game, I really felt like I was the Dark Knight. But while I enjoyed Arkham Asylum, I loved Arkham City was even better. Arkham City felt like an even bigger game than Arkham Asylum, which is basically what a good sequel to anything should do. Not only was the world larger, they were more characters and story. But also, there were more interesting sidequests that you can perform while doing the main story. Heck, even after I finished the main story, I still wanted to continue roaming Arkham City. While I enjoy watching, reading, and analysing the character of the Dark Knight: with these games, I felt I WAS the Dark Knight which is just amazing.

Team Fortress 2 - PC Games
This is certainly a very interesting game. There is real plot to this game. The simpliest explaination I have for the game is that "there's a neverending fight between a RED team and a BLU team involving moving carts, capturing points, and taking the case... all you gotta do is shot, hit, or build to try to get your side to win". However, the thing that I love about this game is that it is just addictingly fun. You have 9 classes of unique individual characters that you can use to join online servers where you are thrust into huge battles where you hope to lead into victory. Being introduced to this awesome game through the great and hilarious "MEET THE X" videos, I immediately just joined Steam just for the chance to download this game. This is the game that made me a PC gamer. It is just an amazing game that you can spend hours on and NEVER get tired of... AND IT'S FREE, TOO! It's amazing how Valve made some a huge and popular game free for anybody to download and enjoy. But maybe, Valve had the right idea because they were probably a lot of other people that downloaded TF2 and immediately became a devoted PC gamer. Because of TF2, I got to experience to the awesomeness of the Valve company. I'll just purely love this game forever.

Pokémon Pearl Version - Nintendo DS
In terms of video games, I could confirm that Pokemon WAS my childhood. I got a Gameboy Advanced, a Nintendo DS, and a Nintendo Wii at the time. So, I basically tried to get every possible Pokemon game that could play in all three gaming devices. I got nearly everything from Generation 3 and 4. Pokemon is just a certain kind of magic that is really just personal. You can basically just go on this adventure where you explore different creatures, try to catch them, keep them to later use in battles for XP, money, badges, and hopefully to become the Pokemon Master. Everybody whose played these games has their own personal favorite. I mean the quality of these games are always consistenly good, so it is just you who decides which game you liked the most. And for me, that game would have to be POKEMON PEARL. I admit Generation 3 wasn't the most popular generation in the Pokemon games. They aren't bad but it didn't really change that much compared to Generation 2. However, in 2006, when Pokemon Diamond and Pearl was going to be released in the US. It was the pivotal moment to be a Pokemon fan. I got the Pearl game as a Communion present and I played the game so much that I managed to beat the Elite Four twice. I am still unable to finish any other Pokemon game I own so far. I still enjoy playing this game and trying to catch as many Pokemon as I could. Yeah, I'm still trying to catch them all and complete my National pokedex. While that day may never come, I still enjoying playing the game. And I have no doubt when I say Pokemon Pearl is my favorite Pokemon game and one of my favorite games of all time.

Mortal Kombat - Xbox 360
I played a lot of different Mortal Kombat games. I am definitely a fan of this popular fighting game franchise. Along with Super Smash Bros., this is probably my favorite fighting game franchise. I just really like memorizing the combos to perform some sastifyingly bloody moves. Plus, who doesn't love the moment where you manage to perform a fatality on someone. Out of the many MK games out there, I consider the 2011 game to be my favorite. This is kind of a reboot/sequel to the popular franchise after some big duds (although, I didn't find "DC vs. MK" to not be that bad). Many fighters are back and updated in many interesting ways. There are some great new additions to this game that makes me really enjoy it like that X-ray special attack where you can literally see the bones getting crushed. Also, I consider the story mode in this game to be the best in the series. Still even with these new additions, this is still a Mortal Kombat game. They still have many of the classic moves, you can fight in many of the classic stages, you can use special codes to provide some interesting modes. And let's not forget the fatalies are back and betting than ever. With all of that said, this is what I believe to be the definitive Mortal Kombat game and definitely deserving of being one of my favorite video games.

I admit I am not that big of a gamer. I don't spend hours all the time just spent on my game systems. So, it is probably easier for me to make a list of my favorite games. I don't plan on you'll completely agreeing with my selections but that's OK. I'm just doing my own thing. Here is my "Top 5 Favorite Video Games".
