Tomb Raider - PlayStation
The original will be always the best, Right?
Original, fun and adventurous. Lara Croft is the woman to go. This game has in my opinion aged well and didn't lose any of it's fun and adventure. Sure it has it's problems (mostly because of the controls) but its still enjoyable and worth a try. Even today.

Tomb Raider II: Starring Lara Croft - PlayStation
A little bit more polished than the original, Tomb Raider II is an interesting Action Adventure but falls behind its predecessor since it feels more like an Add-On to the first, than a follow up. Its basically Tomb Raider but with slightly better graphics and different settings. Still very enjoyable, but nothing groundbreaking.

This is going to be controversial: I like the Angel of Darkness. The settings, the storyline, the Soundtrack and yes even the "new" harder edged Lara. Yes this game has its flaws and sometimes its clumsy but you can tell that Core Designs heart was in the right place. Just one major flaw: Kurtis Trent.
Really?

Duplicate - PC Games
Still a pretty long game, but Core Design managed to throw enough new elements in to make me keep going, even through frustrating and long passages. The ending is infamous, but i personally don't like it.

Tomb Raider III: The Adventures of Lara Croft... - PlayStation
Dont get me Wrong: I like the game, but its simply too long. After a few Levels the Game gets too tired. The different locations, like in Chronicles, keeps things Fresh and they get a little bit more explored than in Chronicles but as i stated it's too much.

Lara Croft Go - Android
Its sad when a Multi Platform Mobile Game (available for Windows Phone and Windows Tablets, Android and...ugh...Apple iOS) does the source Material more justice than your Triple A PC-Titles. Square Enix Montreal gave us a beautiful Mobile Game with our beloved classic Lara, an awesome Soundtrack and interesting graphics.

Tomb Raider: Chronicles - Sega Dreamcast
This would have been a better Game, if it was a little bit longer. Sure the different scenarios mixed things up and so everything stays "fresh". But the stories itself are too short. You dont get a proper idea whats going on. Still Lara is at least not whiny and annoying so props to Core Design.

Tomb Raider: Underworld - Xbox 360
Since i refuse to count the "Remake" as canon, let's hop into Underworld. Lara is still annoying and the playtime is embarrassing short. But at least Lara is "only annoying" and not "Whiny and annoying" as she was in Legend. The Storyline is still stupid and bland. But at least it doesnt screw up a classic.

Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Legend - PlayStation 2
Wait-this is supposed to be Lara Croft? Not only did her appearance change (not entirely but still notable) but the gameplay changed as well. From Tomb Raider to generic Action Adventure. The Graphics looks passable but since when is it more important how a game looks than how it plays?

Tomb Raider - PlayStation 3
The "Reboot" of the Franchise gives us an even more whiny Lara than Legend and Anniversary but at least Anniversary and Legend gave us some Tombs to Raid. Tomb Raider (2013) gave us exactly one. This felt more like Uncharted ft. Lara Croft instead of Tomb Raider. But it still made money so we got a sequel in 2015. Yay.
