Drop Dead Fred (1991)
Very little known movie but made a huge impression on the lucky few who have watched this gem. The one scene where he lies on the floor to look up a woman's skirt was very inspiring.
Jack the Bear (1993)
Danny DeVito in a surprisingly touching role as a father. One of those f'd up family movies with a big ass heart.
Based on J.G. Ballad's novel by the same name about people that can only get off by getting into car accidents. Good times.
The Burbs (1989)
Tom Hanks best movie. Well, maybe not, but it was pretty creepy in a good way. Especially that one guy with the freaky foreign accident toting a needle.
Sugar & Spice (2001)
Crazy ass pregnant cheerleaders robbing banks and shiznit. If i'm not mistaken Mena Suvari is in it.
The Brave Little Toaster (1987)
The only film (that I know of) that personified appliances in a heartfelt way. You have to be evil not to feel for this touching masterpiece.
One of those movies that when you start to watch it, its hard to get up. I wonder if charges were ever brought against them for the dead babysitter.
Radio Flyer (1992)
Elijah Wood does a great job in a serious film dealing with serious family problems.
The stuff of fantasy that any kid would love. I find it a lot more exciting than the original. But no one ever remembers this one.
The Great Mouse Detective (1986)
Lesser known Disney movie with overtones of Sherlock Holmes without. Pure gold.
Young Einstein (1988)
I don't really remember much about this movie since I saw it as a kid. Something about a bath in an undersized outside tub and crazy hair.
Takes adolescence to the extreme. The main character, an odd character, has a twisted appeal to her. Precursor to Napoleon Dynamite.
Dutch (1991)
Ed O'Neal is great in this buddy road picture. Funnier than all of the great known comedies.
Devon Sawa in a very animated performance. This blurs the line between comedy/horror. Everytime I think of Sawa though I think of him tripping off a lot of acid in SLC punk. Funny.
The Astronaut's Wife (1999)
Probably Johnny Depp's most forgettable movie, but it wasn't that bad. Kinda creepy.
Crazy fast gorillas in the jungle due to experimentation gone horribly wrong. Got HORRIBLE reviews, but I think it was decent.
The Hobbit (1977)
If Guillermo Del Toro can top this with his version of 'The Hobbit' i will be impressed.
About Schmidt (2002)
Very eerie film with Nicholson in an unusual performance. This is definately not the Joker.
Nothing But Trouble (1991)
A movie that has it all. Not sure who the girl was in it, but I had a crush on her.
eXistenZ (1999)
Philosophical, existential mind-f*** of a movie. I remember seeing this with 4 other people. At the end of the movie they all said in unison, that was the best f***ing movie I have ever seen!
Quiz Show (1994) (2005)
Doesn't sound like an exciting topic for a movie, but director Redford weaves quite a tale.
The Rocketeer (1991)
Although they do play this movie on TV time to time, I hardly remember it has existed. But a good one, nonetheless.
This was actually in the movie theater. Scrooge got robbed at the Oscars.
Bully (2001)
The song at the end (Fatboy Slim-Song for Shelter) heightens the emotionality incredibly for this true story of teenagers who kill their best friend.
The Fan (1996)
Underrated forgotten Robert DeNiro movie. Not as good as Taxi Driver, of course, but decent.
Time Bandits (1981)
Crazy little british dudes off on some zany adventures. Kind of reminds me of Willow.
Peggy Sue Got Married (1986)
Who doesn't want to go back to high school and do it all over again? Great music throughout.
What About Bob? (1991)
I always secretely wanted Bob to turn into a serial killer when the hospitable family lets him spend the night in his sons room. Luckily that wasn't the case, though. Bill Murray is mad funny.
The Sandlot (1993)
PF Flyer's and junk. And baseball. And narration done very well. Think Wonder Years playing ball.
I don't understand why people don't talk about this movie everyday. Brilliant. Tom Cruise's best performance, hands down.
Harry and the Hendersons (1987)
Touching film about unlikely houseguests. Reminded me of 'Beauty and the Beast.'
