Justin Timberlake attended the Marine Corps Ball on November 12, 2011 in Richmond, VA with Cpl. Kelsey De Santis. Justin called it “one of the most moving evenings I’ve ever had.”

Scarlett Johansson declined the invitation by Sgt. Dustin L. Williams. However, the Marine was not left empty-handed — Scarlett said she was going to send a case of champagne as a “thank you” to the Marine.

Miley Cyrus was invited to the Marine Corps Ball at Camp Pendleton in California by Private First Class Hart via YouTube. However, Miley did not attend the November 12 event.

Sgt. Ray Lewis extended an invitation to Betty White to be his Marine Corps Ball date. Although Betty said she was “deeply flattered” by the invite, she was not able to attend.

Linda Hamilton turned the tables on Sgt. Ray Lewis, after Betty White’s decline. The former “Terminator” star posted her own YouTube message telling Lewis she would be his date to the Ball.
