Doctor Zhivago (1965)
I watched this dramatic lovestory as I was a child and I was fascinated of Lara's beauty.

Bonnie and Clyde (1967)
I liked to see the young Faye Dunaway in this classic movie - she was beautiful. Most actors did a good job here, only Estelle Parsons (as Blanche) did a bit too much overacting. Overall a good/very good movie with an ending that left me speechless for a while.

Cape Fear (1962)
I liked espescially the very intense final scene. Robert Mitchum gave a very good performance and also the young actress that played Gregory Peck's daughter (Lori Martin) was very convincing in her role.

Psycho (1960)
As a fan of film noir I like the dark cinematography in this movie very much. The shock effects are not comparable to contemporary films, so I wasn't shocked a single time. Some shocking scenes, especially the last one, were even quite funny to me. And that's why I have to lower my rating a bit. It's definitely not one of my favourite Hitchcock movies but I still enjoyed it.

Repulsion (1965)
My Highlights in this movie of Roman Polanski are the beautiful Catherine Deneuve and the b/w cinematography with it's play of light and shadows. Also the music is appropriate. But I didn't like the story that much, most of the time nothing happens - so it gets quite boring.
(the first hour I rate with 6-8 points, the rest is 5 points)
