Back to the Future (1985)
"Back to the future" would play on our local TV for Christmas every year and it was the best thing to do - watching it, snuggled up in my favorite armchair, sipping hot chocolate. Major crush on Marty, too.

10 Things I Hate About You (1999)
I first saw this movie when I was 13, during my "rebel" phase (but no, I did not like Bikini Kill or Sylvia Plath). It was recommended by my brother's girlfriend so I expected a cliche rom-com, but I ended up really liking the movie. 10 years later, it's still one of my favorites and definitely one of the coolest chick flicks out there.

Saw (2004)
I cried after watching it. I was 14. I remember being so shocked that after all the characters went through they were still going to die. Even my mom was consoling me "It's just a movie, come on, it didn't really happen!" (which are the words I live by now, lol)

Just Friends (2005)
I had a window between my classes so I came home to eat something, midnlessly turned on the TV and "Just friends" was on, right during the "stupid, stupid" moment! Accidentally discovered, it became one of my favorite movies.

My best friend and I first found out about this movie through "Just friends" and I'll never forget how much we laughed our asses off watching the original "it was us" scene! hahaha

Dumb and Dumber To (2014)
Saw it on the opening night. The whole theater was in tears laughing!

47 Ronin (2013)
My husband, Anthony, took me to the movies to see this one while we were still getting to know each other. I became very sick in the theater, I had a fever and I was shaking despite being covered with 2 jackets. Anthony took me home even though I knew he wanted to watch the movie. That's when I found out he's a keeper!
13 Going on 30 (2004)
I was 16 and I had a big crush on a friend when I watched it, so I knew exactly how Jenna felt when Matt turned her down at the end. That whole scene where she confesses her feelings made me cry so much and I still think it's one of the saddest moments of the big screen.

The Neon Bible (1995)
Stumbled upon this movie on TV when I was 17, the beautiful music and cinematography caught my eye so I kept watching. The ending left me in tears because I too have lost a parent unexpectedly and I knew how David felt.
Joanna's rating:
Again, stumbled upon this movie on TV and it ended up SO damn good. It's also responsible for me developing a huge crush on Chris Owen!
