I remember my parents told me that they would get me a Gamecube for my birthday if I save up my own money for it. So on my 11th birthday, we went to the game store and bought a Gamecube.

Sonic the Hedgehog - Sega Genesis and Mega Drive

First Game That I Ever Played

I did play games on my old Mac around 1995, but this was the first game that I've played on a console. I remember playing Sonic at a toy store in the mall in Baltimore, MD when I was like at least four years old. I already knew about Sonic thanks to Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog on TV.

I remember the first level being so hard that I couldn't finish it. It made me want to throw my console across the living room. This was 15 years ago and I still have nightmares of this game :D.

The first M rated game that I remember playing.

It was 1996 and I knew about Mortal Kombat thanks to the popular movie that came out in 1995. I went to my friends house and he had Mortal Kombat II on the Genesis. I pick Reptile as my first character to play as and he choose Sub-Zero.
