A decent and inspired show plagued with not-so-good writing provided by friends and family members of Ralph Bakshi. At some point HBO wanted true professionals, but Bakshi instead canceled the whole show.

This just sucks.

Ren & Simpy pretty much killed the 80's kids animation. Still considered extremely anti-commercial, this impossibly creative madness paved the way for shows like Beavid & Butthead and South Park. Even though many have tried to mimic it's style and offbeat humor, there's still nothing like the original R&S.

Talk about an underrated show. The people who made WCA clearly loved the games and it really shows. They got the lore just right and even managed to hire the same actors from the original games, like Mark Hamill, Biff from Back to the Future and Malcolm McDowell. Sadly, this thing was canceled after few episodes.

Produced by John K. and Spumco. This thing was canceled after five episodes because of some internal conflict regarding the tone of the show. The TV company wanted it more childish and stupid yet John K. and the team wanted to make it more mature and off-the-wall. The end result isn't as bad as you might think, since they even managed to put in some erection jokes.

People these days only know this thing for the laughable "cocaine scandal" that killed the show. At the time this thing was nothing short of revolutionary stuff: the quality of animation is great, the humor is witty and clever and the overall tone of the show is very sarcastic at best. I even found few penis jokes every now and then.

In the 90's this style of animation became the norm, thanks to John K. and the Ren & Stimpy Show that took the industry by storm.
