"Faith is a torment. It is like loving someone who is out there in the darkness but never appears, no matter how loudly you call."

This movie is a classic. While I haven't seen too many art-house movies, I think this is the best one so far. That's all I can say about this movie since everything has been said about this movie. Especially a movie that's almost 60 years old.

"I hate flying. The lines. The crowds. The delays...
Jen Summers: I always kinda liked it. Six hours. One seat. Nobody can get to you."

Since the weather at the ski hill was too cold, my grandpa asked me if I wanted to see a movie with him and I said yes. Out of all the movies that were playing in theatres this is the one I wanted to see the most. This was a very solid thriller. The build-up to the movie was amazing and while it does have a similar plot to The Taking of Pelham One Two Three, the movie manages to do something fresh with the plot. This was a highly entertaining thriller that doesn't slow down until it ends.

"Are you joking? Do you guys like it here? Who the hell likes being stuck in a place where you can't even smile? It's hot as balls, everybody's an asshole. I just wanna go home."

I remember hearing about this movie when I was 11 and I don't think I would've appreciated it if I saw it back then. Then I hear lots of great things about this movie on the internet and I knew I had to see it someday. This movie is original, darkly funny and it has some exceptional performances. Despite the fact that this movie has a cult status, I still think it's a movie more people need to see.

"We call her Turnpike, cuz you gotta pay to get on and pay to get off!"

This was a very entertaining movie. Isaac Hayes is awesome as the leading role and it has some great action. It's a very good 70's movie that's still fun to watch to this day.

"I've never actually played tennis before..."
"We've played Ultimate Tennis on the Wii. It's basically the same thing."

It's far from being a great movie, but it's better than I thought it would be. It is your typical family movie but it did have a couple parts that actually made me laugh. It's not something that I will remember for a long time, but it's better than most of the family movies that come out today.

"Don't feel bad about losing your virtue. I sort of knew you would. Everybody always does."

While this movie has a great script and story, what really makes this movie great is Jane Fonda and Donald Sutherland. It also tackled a subject that most movies didn't at the time this was made. While this movie did win an Oscar and has a spot in the 1001 Movies You Must See Before You Die, I still think it's overlooked and will definitely get a spot in my list of overlooked movies.

"Oh, my poor master. How it pains me to see you so wounded, so weak..."
"Spare me, you gaseous sycophant! You know what you are told, which is nothing!"

This movie is far from being a cinematic masterpiece. It's overlong, it focuses a little too much on the humans and some of the action scenes went on for too long, but I was still highly entertained by this movie. It's a good summer blockbuster and is much better than Transformers 2.

"What is this, the gunfight at the O.K. Corral?"
"As long as there's cop killers around, pal, I'm gonna be ready."
"It don't make no difference how many guns you got. You only got two hands."

This was an amazing movie. I loved the dark tone of this movie, it had an amazing performance from Paul Newman and this movie took my breath away from the moment it started. While some people may call this a typical cop movie, I think it's one of the best cop movies in my book.

This was a very great movie. It had some very good characters and it has some very powerful and intense scenes. I also thought the whole idea of a person seeing his father again for the first time in years was well-executed. It was an amazing foreign movie that showed the dark side of Rio de Janeiro very well.

"I'm done with killing."
"Yeah well, maybe killing ain't done with you."

I thought that this was a highly entertaining movie. It had a great cast, some cool action scenes and it looked like Robert De Niro cared about his role which was nice to see. Very fun movie that I would like to watch again someday and possibly own on DVD or Blu-ray.

"I don't think I can last another twenty years..."

This movie was surprisingly terrible. The movie started off very poorly by putting the characters into the situation instead of developing them which I hate it when movies do that since most of them can't pull it off. This movie was also more ridiculous than suspenseful and has terrible characters. The worst thing this movie did was make Liam Neeson's character boring. Granted he's the best character in the whole damn movie, but it pisses me off that his performance was boring because he's better than this. While watching this movie it just felt like I was watching a shittier version of The Fugitive.

"I couldn't be fonder of you if you were my own son. But, well, if you lose a son, it's possible to get another. There's only one Maltese Falcon."

I'm glad I took the time to watch this classic. I'm sure everything has been said about this movie, but fuck it! I feel like talking about it, so excuse my cliche commentary. The dialogue to this day is just as amazing as it was back then. Humphrey Bogart's performance was beyond amazing and he might become my favorite classic actor. I also really loved the story and the fantastic direction from John Huston. This is a great movie that's just as amazing as it was when it first came out.

"Rosebud..."

This GIF suits how I feel about this movie. I had a feeling this movie was going to be overrated, but I never knew it would be this bad. The dialogue was horrendous, the acting was overdramatic and it was very boring. I did not care what was going on in this movie and this is one of those rare times where knowing the ending to a movie ruins the experience. Really the only good thing about this movie was the famous rosebud scene. I wouldn't call the scene amazing, but it is the best thing in the whole damn movie. I hate to say this, but I think Orson Welles may be overrated. The only other movie I've seen from him was Touch of Evil and while that movie was much better than this, I still think it was somewhat overrated. I will watch one of his lesser-known movies someday to make up my mind, but I won't have high expectations from it. Sorry, but there's no way this is the best movie of all time.

"In my experience, the prettier a girl is, the more nuts she is, which makes you insane."
"I like how you can compliment and insult somebody at the same time, in equal measure."

While I can't say it's as great as Derek Cianfrance's newer film The Place Beyond the Pines, it's still a very well-done love story and has some very great acting.

"You already got bone structure. When I was your age I didn't have no bone structure. Took me years to get bone structure. And don't think bone structure's not important. People didn't decide to call me "Mademoiselle" until I was seventeen and getting a little bone structure."

This was an amazing movie. The story was great, it had some very good dialogue and it had some exceptional performances especially from Tatum O'Neal. Her character stole the show and she definitely deserved to win the Oscar. This is a classic movie and is another masterpiece from the best decade of movies which is the 70's.

While most people consider this quote to be the worst part of the movie, I thought the whole movie was pretty terrible. The acting was lame, the dialogue was wooden and it is far from believable. It felt like the most unrealistic love story ever made and it's not romantic at all. If I had one minor positive about this movie, it would be Ali MacGraw. Her performance was terrible, but at least she looked good.

"Mr Woodroof, I'm afraid that you're nothing more than a common drug dealer, so if you'll excuse us..."
"Oh, I'm the drug dealer? No, you're the fuckin' drug dealer. I mean, goddamn, people are dyin'. And y'all are up there afraid that we're gonna find an alternative without you."

I might get some hate for this, but I couldn't stand this movie. Some of you may know that I cannot stand Matthew McConaughey even in his newer movies. His performance in this movie is no exception. He delivered the most over the top performance in his whole career and that's saying a lot. While I do think Jared Leto is a great actor (who should stick to acting instead of singing in his awful band), his performance was horrible! He couldn't pull off the type of role he was playing! It's not just the acting I couldn't stand about this movie. The dialogue and the way this movie was edited also bugged me. While the true story this movie is based on is amazing, everything I can't stand about this movie kills it for me. The reason my rating isn't lower is because there were a few scenes in this movie that weren't as painful to watch as most of the scenes. If you liked this movie then that's perfectly OK. I just seem to be in the minority of people who hated this movie.

"The enemy of my enemy is my friend."
"An Arabic proverb attributed to a prince who was betrayed and decapitated by his own subjects."
"Well, its still a hell of a quote."

Whoop-dee-fucking-doo! Another dissapointing movie that 2013 had to offer! While I'm not that familiar with Star Trek, I really enjoyed the first movie and while I wasn't highly anticipating this sequel, I still had good expectations for it. Throughout the whole movie I was wondering what this movie was doing wrong. It wasn't until the end of the movie that I realized that it was too dark. It's a Star Trek movie! Why did you diagnose your script with Iron Man 3 Syndrome? While the special effects were amazing and Leonard Nimoy as Spock was great, the other aspects in this movie were mediocre at best. I would call this The Phantom Menace of Star Trek, but that movie was by far more entertaining than this one.

"He's not a person anymore. No, he stopped being a person when he took our daughters."

What a hell of a movie this was. It had great story-telling, very well-done performances and you can really feel what the characters in this movie are going through. One of the better movies to come out last year and Denis Villeneuve is a director that's worth keeping an eye on.

"I was in love once. He was a hunter, I was a gatherer. It was quite the scandal. We fed each other berries, we danced. Then father bashed him on the head and traded me to your grandfather."

This movie was surprisingly overrated. While visually the movie was amazing, the characters weren't that great and it was surprisingly lacking in the laughs department. Also a couple of the running gags got old pretty quick. It's an OK movie, but it could've been better.

What a great horror movie this was. This movie was very scary and for a horror movie the script in this movie was amazing. Just like Insidious this movie is destined to become a horror classic and is proof that James Wan is the best horror director working today.

"In my line of work things tend to happen when it gets dark."

I was a bit skeptical about this movie before watching, but I didn't have to worry when it started. It's not as great as the original, but it's still a solid sequel. It had some very good scares, but the one that scared me the most was the scene that's in the image I chose. It's far from being a masterpiece, but it's still a very good horror sequel.

"Heterosexual?"
"Can I ask you something? Are you a faggot? See, you asked me if I was heterosexual; I asked you the same question, only I was clear about the answer I was looking for."

This was a pretty cool movie. It had great acting from Benicio Del Toro and James Caan and it had a very great shoot-out scene near the end of the movie. I feel like this movie had potential to be a great movie, but for what it is it's a very entertaining movie and it's somewhat underrated.

"They were going to kill you in cold blood. I couldn't let that happen. Not here. This is a decent neighborhood!"

I wasn't expecting this movie to be anything great and I was surprised with what I got. I rarely get this scared while watching a horror movie and while some people may compare this movie to The Sixth Sense, I think this movie is the better one. When this movie ended it gave me that scary feeling that most horror movies don't give me.

And dying in your beds, many years from now, would you be willin' to trade ALL the days, from this day to that, for one chance, just one chance, to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take our lives, but they'll never take... OUR FREEDOM!"

There was no way I was going to let this movie leave Netflix without me watching it first. I'm actually surprised this is my first time watching this. I loved the acting, the emotion this movie had and I loved the amazing action scenes. People complain about the historical inaccuracies this movie has, but it's not supposed to be historically accurate. It's meant to be an epic action movie and it delivers. It might even land a spot in my top 10 favorite movies.
